On May 22nd, 2010 the Illinois Valley Flying Club, EAA Chapter 129, and the Civil Air Patrol Cadets provided over 100 children between the ages of 8 and 17 with a free plane ride. Many people contributed to the success of this exciting event. Special thanks to Chuck Studer, Ernie Bassi, Bill Heinrich, Jane Goetz, Dennis Bute, Howard Schoenholz, David Dahlberg, George Wilts, Bob "Obie" Oberholzer, Dave Kewley, Dave Hrasch, Sherry Mayszak, Patricia Jones and her group of Civil Air Patrol Cadets, and Matt Krug.
