On June 2nd, 2013 the Illinois Valley Flying Club, EAA Chapter 129, and the Civil Air Patrol Cadets provided 124 kids between the ages of 8 and 17 with a free plane ride. Thanks to Ernie Bassi, Eric Swartz, Matt Krug, Dave Dalberg, Mark Wilt, Doug Hearn, Peter Limberger, Dave Hrasch, Bob “Obie” Oberholzer, Sherry Mayszak, Harry Deacon, Earl Rogers, Dave Kewley, Mike Judge and Phil Bolenbaugh. All the help made for a fun day and a successful event!!
